Building and programming ROBOTS with Wirraglen home schooling support.

Eighteen keen programmers and parents started the day watching Drones, playing PONG, exploring Furby, soldering, joining wires, mounting terminal blocks, using multimeters, using an oscilloscope and pulling apart old video recorders.

Different programming platforms were discussed, demonstrated, tested and played with -"Arduino", PICAX, Mindstorms and Makey Makey. Then we spent the afternoon building the ARDUINO smart Robot car kit with Motors, IR sensor (remote controlling), Ultra sonic sensors, tracking sensors (IR), and Bluetooth sensor for mobile phone control. Each sensor was mounted, connected and tested, all industry standard procedures, very useful experience fully supported with tons of published free codes.
