Building Ukuleles @ Mornington Island

The Wahoo Crew travelled to Mornington Island in the Gulf Of Carpenteria to build handmade ukuleles with students at the Mornington Island State School.

Students and staff at the school built 60 ukuleles over the course of 1 week and learned some basic chords on their new handmade instrument.

The Wahoo crew also built a Cob (earth) oven with State School staff at the Teacher compound and we had a home made pizza night, and a roast chicken and lamb... great fun.

Abe and Nye played some music around a fire on the beach at a BBQ and we spotted the Emu in the sky (Largest Constellation in the Milky Way) with staff from the school as is becoming a tradtion.
