Building cob ovens and cajons @ Toowoomba YCLC

Students at the Toowoomba Youth Community Learning Centre had the opportunity to build their own drums (cajons) and learn some rhythms together with the Wahoo Business crew. The students also built pizza ovens from soil collected out of their garden made into cob bricks and built into a catenary shape, a very stable structure. They reflect heat into the centre of the oven which means you can cook a pizza in under 5 minutes!! We experimented with chimney and non chimney designs to see which oven would burn most effectively.
